Milano in Retrospect: Happy Memories

March 12, 2026 By Guy St. Clair

As an experiment, I am publishing links to a group of separate earlier posts in a single post. Hopefully, readers will have easier access multiple posts on a single subject, in this case, the wonderful city of Milan (Milano).

Of course the WordPress “Search this website” does a good job, but readers tell me it is a difficult task for multiple posts on a single or related subject. After all, working with over 300 blog posts published since September 2009 is a “bit much” for some readers. To say nothing of trying to remember search terms.

So if we can come up with an easier way to access Sharing Guy’s Journey content, readers will have a more pleasant reading experience.

Let’s see if this works. I’m using the visit Andrew Berner, Sandi Kitt, and I had to Milan in 2023 as a first effort, since It was a delightful experience for all three of us and we speak of it often.

So let’s try. If this experiment enables you to enjoy reading the blog more easily, I will indeed be very pleased. And so will you, I hope.

What I’ve written about Milano is here:

Milan: A Remarkable City

Milan: A Visit to La Scala (In Brief)

Milan: Teatro alla Scala (2)

Milan: Cimitero Monumentale

Milan: La Biblioteca Ambrosiana / La Pinacoteca Ambrosiana

Milan: Raphael’s “The School of Athens” and Me
